Attention Public:

Due to massive traffic volume to this site, we must restrict reporting tool access to only those logging incidents through the Election Protection program. We will attempt to summarize findings during the day for the public, and make a full report of our findings public after the election. Unfortunately, the real-time data from EIRS tools will no longer be publicly available for the duration of Election Day. We are encouraged by and grateful for the incredible public interest, and offer our apologies, but we must give priority access to those attorneys and activists entering and using the data in order to assist voters

What is EIRS?

EIRS or the Election Incident Reporting System is a sophisticated voting incident tracking system that will be an invaluable tool for Election Protection coalition partners and the public on Election Day and beyond. Voting problems reported through the Voter Hotline (1-866-OUR-VOTE) by coalition members or by poll watchers involved in the Election Protection program will be entered into the system for analysis during and after Election Day.

What is Election Protection?

The nonpartisan Election Protection program is committed to protecting the right to vote and ensuring fair elections. The Coalition operates 1-866-OUR-VOTE, the country’s only national voter assistance and protection hotline providing citizens with immediate assistance from trained volunteers. Focusing on historically disenfranchised communities, the Election Protection coalition, led by PFAW Foundation, the NAACP, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, draws on the expertise, experience, passion, and moral leadership of the civil rights community to make sure every eligible voter is able to cast a vote that will count.
